On your wedding day, you can expect me to be a calming presence that is adaptable and easy going when things go unexpectedly. Mostly, I'll be capturing the day as candidly as possible, allowing things to unfold naturally without too much interference from my end. At the same time, during formal portraits of the newlyweds, bridal party, and family, I'll take a more directive approach to posing.
Before I was a photographer, I was a full time dancer in the world of ~showbiz baby~. That old saying, "the show must go on" was more than a cliche in that world - it was a way of life. Our world could be falling apart backstage, but as soon as we stepped on stage no one would ever know it, despite any backstage chaos. With my background in performance, I approach weddings as live productions and that same "the show must go on" attitude. I've seen it all. My clients and even wedding guests often comment on my calm demeanor in the midst of a wedding day "crisis" (yes, they happen at every wedding). I definitely attribute this to my time in the entertainment industry. My goal is to be a place of peace and calm for you, not just on your wedding day, but throughout the wedding planning process.
In short: I'm going to help you (over) prepare for the best day ever, and when we need to pivot, you can count on me to be easy going and along for the ride.
Something about this always gets me crying in the club.
Since you don't spend a lot of alone time with your significant other on your wedding day, this is one of the sweetest ways to squeeze in another private moment between just the two of you.
I'm totally kidding...maybe. It is definitely a huge perk of the job ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
And I WILL cry at your wedding. Being a four just means I'm really in touch with my emotions, and I love the things about myself that make me unique!
I love staying home, baking, and antique shopping. I'm usually wandering the aisles of the nearest antique mall on the hunt for some vintage treasures. One day I'll learn how to crochet scarves for all my loved ones.
Thank you so much for your interest in having me as your wedding photographer! Once you submit this form, I'll be able to let you know if I am available for your wedding date. I limit the number of weddings I take on per year in order to give my clients the experience they deserve.
It is also important to me that we are a good fit for each other, so the next step will be to hop on the phone and get to know each other a little bit.
