Stephanie and Jake’s summer Pleasantdale Chateau wedding was luxurious, detailed, meaningful, and most importantly, a blast. This West Orange wedding venue is conveniently located near New Jersey as well as Manhattan. Given that this was a June wedding, the weather was relatively moderate and made outdoor wedding portraits really enjoyable.
With family and friends that were ready to party and a vendor team that was unmatched, this Pleasantdale Chateau wedding was perfect from beginning to end. Stephanie and Jake both got ready in the provided getting ready suites at the Pleasantdale Chateau. The day started fairly calmly, as most weddings do, before the rush of the wedding day began. Stephanie kicked off a tear-filled first look with her dad before meeting up with Jake in the greenhouse for their first look. We spent some time with just the two of them so they were able to spend a few quiet moments together before the wedding day really began.
Stephanie and Jake’s ceremony was at Ss. Nicholas, Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church in West Orange, New Jersey, just a short drive from the Pleasantdale Chateau wedding venue. Following the ceremony, the couple exited the church through a stunning baby’s breath archway by Designs by DAA and went straight to their getaway car.
Back at the venue, the Pleasantdale Chateau staff was preparing a feast of cocktail hour and a reception room that left no detail overlooked. The candlelit, floral-filled tablescape was nothing short of jaw dropping. Stephanie and Jake drenched the venue in floral arrangements. The Pleasantdale Chateau’s staircase made quite the statement drenched in baby’s breathe and roses. The extravagant scene set the tone for how the rest of the evening would go.
