Who can say they haven’t dreamt of a garden party wedding? When planning a wedding, often one of the biggest surprises is just how much wedding florals actually cost. An alternative solution: bring to the garden instead of bringing the garden to you. As a Fort Worth wedding photographer, this is one of my favorite venues in the city. You may be surprised at how cost effective a Fort Worth Botanic Garden wedding actually is! The venue fee is minimal, and little to no decor is required. This was perfect for Courtney and Jacob as they wanted the emphasis to be on spending time with their loved ones – less focus on superficial things like decor. It is so easy to get caught up in that kind of thing when planning a wedding. On our first phone call, I can recall Courtney and Jacob being really focused on being able to ENJOY their wedding without being stressed. They absolutely pulled this off.
A garden themed wedding is romantic and dreamy, and pretty easy to accomplish stylistically in a place like the Fort Worth Botanic Garden. With all the Bridgerton hype, I couldn’t help but think what a perfect venue the Fort Worth Botanic Garden would be for a Bridgerton themed wedding or event.

Fun fact: when they were pronounced husband and wife, that dip kiss was completely in-the-moment and unplanned.
I have visited the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens in the past as a guest, but having this gorgeous area reserved just for us was something special. I have always been impressed with the garden as a guest, but there was something about experiencing it with just these two in their newly wedded bliss that was so serene and ideal. This absolutely suited Courtney and Jacob perfectly since intimacy, privacy, and emphasis on being present was a priority for them.
