Bethesda Terrace Engagement Photos

As a NYC engagement photographer, I’m begging you to consider this your sign to have your engagement photos made in Central Park when the foliage is transforming during fall! Or at the very least – take a walk through New York City’s urban oasis that really puts on an autumn show for visitors. This has been on my NYC bucket list for a while. It was such a treat to finally get to enjoy it and document it with a couple even more stunning than the scenery. As a fairly new transplant at the time of this session, I was so glad to have two lifetime NYC locals to share this experience with. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day for this session.

Beginning at Bethesda Terrace + fountain, we were definitely dodging tourists, but I’d say it was worth it. Not to mention, their amazing style really complimented the impressive architecture.

As we meandered through the park from location to location, the fall foliage covered the ground. I think Mother Nature was throwing us some confetti in celebration of these two and their engagement.

Then we made it over to Bow Bridge for an amazing background of the city buildings and foliage all in one. There were so many tourists at the bridge. I think I stepped on a few toes!

  1. […] The seasons can vary greatly in NYC! Weather wise, spring and fall are most ideal. If it is raining or snowing, a couple of those clear umbrellas can be a great way to keep dry. These are great for photographs too. If it is freezing, bring a nice coat that photographs well. The colors in your photos will ary thorughout the seasons as well. In winter they may be more gray tones and monochromatic while in the spring/summer the colors will be more lively. Fall is my personal favorite when the foliage in Central Park is transforming! […]

Thank you so much for your interest in having me as your wedding photographer! Once you submit this form, I'll be able to let you know if I am available for your wedding date. I limit the number of weddings I take on per year in order to give my clients the experience they deserve.

It is also important to me that we are a good fit for each other, so the next step will be to hop on the phone and get to know each other a little bit.
