While it is not your traditional Manhattan wedding venue, the energy in NYC city hall is electric and just so much fun! The building is busting with so much love and excitement. Many of my city hall wedding clients opt to still have a dinner party at a restaurant or venue suitable for intimate celebrations.

If you are looking for a classically New York City wedding venue with all of that old world charm, Harold Pratt House is worth looking into. This historic mansion is reminiscent of Paris, most notably because of the cut stone on the exterior of the Pratt Mansion that is often seen in Paris architecture. Some of my favorite features are the courtyard, stunning spiral staircase, and intricate moldings.

A Central Park wedding remains one of the most quintessential NYC wedding locations, and one of the most popular wedding venues in NYC thanks to its many movie features. The iconic park offers a unique opportunity for couples to get married in NYC but still experience some form of peace and tranquility within the city. The Central Park Boathouse amplifies the romantic qualities the park already has. I love that a Central Park boathouse wedding is a nod to the famous romance movie, The Notebook. Imagine getting ready at the nearby Plaza Hotel and then getting married in the park – a truly NYC affair.
