Fort Worth Wedding Venue FAQs
What is the best time to get married in Fort Worth, Texas?
By far the most popular time of year to have a wedding in Fort Worth is late fall so that the weather isn’t so hot. Every year, I have to turn down clients because late September through early November books up so quickly and so far in advance. In Texas, it stays hot much longer than other places further north. So by October, ideally the weather tends to be a bit cooler and more pleasant. However, this can make securing wedding vendors tricky. There are often many couples competing for prime dates around this time of year, so it is important to secure your couples as early as possible if you’re aiming for a fall wedding in Fort Worth!
Where should we host our wedding rehearsal dinner in Fort Worth?
Many of the venues above may allow you to host your rehearsal dinner onsite on the eve of your wedding in the event that it is not booked for another event. However, some venues will book multiple weddings in a weekend and this will not be possible. In this case, there are several local restaurants that are great for a Fort Worth rehearsal dinner.
What Fort Worth hotels can accommodate our wedding guests?
- Hotel Drover
- The Sinclair

Can you recommend a Fort Worth wedding venue planner?
Of course! I highly recommend working with a Fort Worth wedding planner when planning a wedding. With this in mind, I can recommend several Dallas wedding planners.
Can you recommend a Fort Worth florist?
Of course! The florists are some of my favorite vendors to work with because they can absolutely transform a space. Fort Worth wedding florists are some of the best, and for that reason I have several I can recommend.
What is the process for getting married at a Fort Worth wedding venue?
Getting married in Fort Worth is fairly straightforward and simple. You will both need to apply for a marriage license at any county clerk’s office that is in Texas. This license is valid for 30 days. Your officiant is responsible for filing the marriage license following the ceremony. A marriage certificate can be acquired upon request. My post on Fort Worth city hall weddings talks about this in depth.
Can you photograph our wedding at one of these venues?
